When you make a financial donation to a DDC Goal, it is initially held in our non-profit Donor Advised Fund (The Flying Pig) and you immediately receive a tax-receipt for the full amount.
Every time a new member joins DDC, $1 will be released from your total donation amount and sent to the end-charity. So your donation not only helps make a direct impact, but it incentivizes new individual donors to join-giving at least $1/month ($12/year).
That's why we call these donations Amplified Impact!
